About Greater Helena Gives
Greater Helena Gives is the Helena Area’s annual 24-hour online giving campaign designed to raise money and awareness for our local nonprofit community. Join us in celebrating the nonprofits that make our communities “home.”
In 2023, Greater Helena Gives raised $275,003 for 110 local nonprofits from 1,233 donors. This year we plan to raise even more!

Coloring Book Pages!
The Helena Area Community Foundation and Opportunity Bank of Montana have an exciting new event this year for Greater Helena Gives - A coloring and mascot naming contest! Kids aged 0-15 can download a coloring book page OR drop by any Opportunity Bank location to pick up a page featuring our new Greater Helena Gives mascot, Dawn! Dawn sure loves Helena, and can be found reading in a garden after visiting the Lewis and Clark Library, riding the carousel, or hanging out at memorial park! Coloring pages returned by April 31st to any Helena Opportunity Bank location have the chance to win fun prizes, and all participants will receive a mascot sticker! We can’t wait to see the beautiful artwork!
